When is the next one? I missed the one on Mother's day.

Don't ya'll think Mother's day was a bad time for a (at least) half day match? Family obligations, etc?

They have on Mother's day because there is more time for the match as the range is closed all day. Otherwise on Sunday we have to finish up by noon so the range can open to the public. They usually only have two or so three gun matches per year. There's a pistol match tomorrow morning.

I used to shoot the Sunday morning matches when I lived in Laplace. They were a lot of fun. We're renovating a house right now so free time is scarce, especially on weekends. I was going to make an exception for the 3 gun match though.

    LaCamper,
The USPSA club that used to hold their matches at Nick's have moved their operation to the St.James S/O range in Vacherie.
They will hold a three-gun match in Dec. (2nd Sunday I believe)
Send me your e-mail address and I will forward it to the club to include you in their mailing list if you wish.
We'd love to have you and anyone else who like to attend.

Nick's used to have an informal 3 gun (actually 4 gun) match. That's the one I was looking for. I still would be interested in the USPSA match though.
