Question:

If I took say a 16.5" AR barrel and drilled holes in the last 6 inches, then I encased those last 6" in a permenant silencer. Does that make this a SBR? Or does the part inside the silencer still count as barrel length since its integral?

if it's integral you're not building an SBR, you're building a silencer.

Not a sbr. Silencer. One stamp. Different exa
ple, Mp5sd = two stamp gun. Machine gun + silencer.
