I am on the verge of picking up one of these in .308 Win....I have a Model 110 in .270 Win & really love it. It is accurate as any rifle I've ever fired, and is hell on deer- and I love the Accu Trigger....I just want another .308 rifle, and was very impressed with my Savage. Has anybody else had any experience with the Model 14 / 114 Series American Classic? If so, what do you think of it? It's basically a little more dressed-up model of the 110, I'm told....
