Ammo report -- Cabella's

Went to Cabella's in Gonzales this afternoon . They were well stocked with most calibers of ammo . Enough 9mm to sink a ship . Even had .380 . Tons of .223 in various brands . A little thin in .17HMR , but they had some .

They did have a ton of ammo. I have found that a lot of their stuff is mismarked on the shelves, so if there is something you want, scan it on one of those price checkers to see what it will ring up as. I did see that .17 hmr you were mentioning for 10.99 per box on the shelf there.
I picked up some the other day that was marked 44.99 on the shelf, but rang up as 36.99.

In their new 2010 Shooting catalog, they have marked up EVERYTHING! Not just ammo and all reloading supplies especially. Primers and brass I can see but VLD hand reamers probably aren't having a real run on them. I need to compare some Bass Pro stuff to see if it is more too.

Somethings I can buy, everything no %$#@in' way unless you are a greedy ba$tard.

Cabela's must be catching up. I had ordered a lot of .380 in Nov / Dec figuring it would last me for a year of range shooting. It has all shipped since last Friday.

The current price is 10% higher and I got free shipping.
