I'm in the Baton Rouge area, and I was wondering what sort of training courses are offered in this area, and if they are any good. I have already had the basic stuff a few times, and I would like to learn some more advanced handgun and/or other self defense techniques. The problems I face are twofold: time and money. I'm a law student, so I am broke, and I get maybe Saturdays free, sometimes. Are there any good courses around here that aren't too expensive and are one-day sorts of things? A friend of mine on this site took a knife fighting class not too long back, with Gomez I think. It sounded fun, if a bit rough.
