I am looking at a concept III model 1911. It has a ambi. safety but I want to know if can change it out to left side only. Would I need to send it in to baer to have them do it? Thanks

I know a mechanic who swears that he can FIX anything with a screwdriver and a pair of pliers!!!!

The safety on a 1911 does require fitting, but is not difficult. Any competent smith should be able to do it.
