Maybe someone with an XD can chime in. I shoot the longer magazines in Glocks and they stick out approximately .5" and work great. There is a company that makes a sleeve to fit over the magazine to fill the space. One sleeve works for any number of magazines.

I dont think they will work, I can check once I get home but I have tried my xd40sc extended mags without the sleeve on my Service frame and they dont snap, same size diferent configuration. I am currently offshore so cant try until a week from now.

If you cant find anybody to get them from now until then I will pick them up from you.

I do not want to sell to someone if they do not work in his gun. As soon as I determine what they work in for sure I will ship to the new owner for $55 or sell locally for $50.

James, they will work in a 9mm the 9mm sc or the .40 and .40 SC XD's. Will not work in the XDm's. In the xd sub's they will stick out about 1" they make a slide on sleeve that acts as a grip extension.

Wish I had seen this post sooner I would have been meeting you to scarf them up!

Last wednesday I shot at bakers I tried using the .40 Mags with my 9mm conversion barrel and it jammed after 3 rnds every time, I had read on a website that claimed you could fit 17 rnds of 9mm if you used a .40 mag, it didnt work too good for me.

Never use ammo. in a magazine designed for a different caliber.

I'm not sure how that was supposed to have worked... I thought the sleeves for the 9 and he 40 were the same size but the opening at the top has to be different to feed the different diameter rounds properly in each pistol. I know the extensions for the 9 and 40 are the same but on the insert it says it adds 4 rounds for the 9 and only 3 for the 40.

You need to get the extension kit from Arredondo.
