Great video, many on this website don't understand what a Constitutional Republic is, and how we have moved away from it, to a Democracy, on it's way to Tyranny.

If gov't officials are elected by the majority, how does a republic not mimic a democracy? The majority can't take away people's rights, but it can vote in reps that will. We're seeing it more and more.
Our current gov't is (or should be) limited by the Constitution, however, even it was created by a group of men, albeit well educated and good intentioned men.

My thought was that a Republic is simply more organized. It's impossible for the entire population to be well informed of every political event. A true democracy with 300M people would be static.
