    You sir have a problem.

You ever get the LEM setup in your P30? Still waiting to see the "light". That SA/DA trigger was far from it. More like Wesley Snipe's ass crack at midnight.

Gray's Guns has one from me (a SA/DA). I have to wonder if he isn't having trouble getting the LEM package that was the replace the V3 trigger in the one I sent him.

You'll know when I get that gun, and the bill for it, by the number of listings in the For Sale section I'll have to cover it.

I would buy a LEM-equipped P30 in a heartbeat... and flip it when the time was right...;)

Look like us plebs can expect the V2. From a post on HK Pro:

    From HK TECH @ H&K From 1/13/10:

"Planned stock for this year is:
    9mm - P30 V3, P30L V3, P30 V2(LEM), P30S V3
    .40 - P30S V3, P30 V2(LEM)

    P30 .40 V2 (LEM) expected to arrive in 30 - 60 days.
    P30S V3 9mm anticipated delivery in May."

You wouldn't have to wait. Just pm me.

    Quite likely.

Does he plan to cover that hole with something?

    .

I really don't know. I'm going to call him tonight to see what the likelihood is he has or can get the trigger.

You're talking about where the space would be when the decocker is removed? It's not much of a hole. It's just a sliver down the side of the receiver. Do you see it as a negative?

This gun will never be a CCW gun.

Oh I see, I haven't held a p30, but every p2000 I've held so far had the LEM trigger. I'm very sorry for assuming, I would like to get a P30 in 9mm with the LEM trigger, I guess I need to spend more time on HKpro. Thanks for the info.
No. While you can find a LEM-equipped P2000 if you expend some effort, there have only been 200 LEM-equipped P30s imported into the US. I have no idea why. There was actually one on the HKPro board two days ago; it lasted MAYBE two hours. I missed it by eleven minutes.

I DO know that the P-series pistols are frame-specific, and that HK/USA will not sell you (I don't think they even have any) a LEM conversion kit for a P-seies pistol.

IOW, while one can convert a decocker P30 or P2000 to LEM configuration, it leaves a big hole in the rear of the slide/frame area where the decocker button was. And you CANNOT convert a LEM P-series pistol to decocker.

Besides, the P-series LEMs have a longer reset than the USP/HK45 pistols. This matters not to some, but I have to think about it when shooting the wife's P2000s, or I'll double-clutch (not allow the trigger to go far enough forward to reset) that puppy every time.

I would buy a LEM-equipped P30 in a heartbeat... and flip it when the time was right...;)
