Finally got around to shooting my pm9 today. To put it nicely the trigger sucks. Looooooong and mushy. Is there anyway to shorten the reset or anyone who does trigger work for it?

Send it to Kahr and have the Elite trigger installed.

Light, with less pre travel, less over travel and a shorter reset. As far as I know they are still available from Kahr. Cylinder and Slide also does custom work on Kahr pistols.

I guess its a matter of taste, but I like the long trigger. It does get a little better and less mushy after it is shot a bit. Kind of like double revolvers. Either way its a smooth pull, totally different than a Glock or something like it.

I enjoy using the Kahr PM-9 and am very fond of it's trigger - it reminds me of a light smooth DA revolver trigger.

Bought one for my wife in December. Both of us love the smooth trigger. No problems here. If it doesn't work out, I am sure one of us would take it off your hands.

Hope it works out for you.
