I have one .308 too many. This one is a Remington model 700 SPS Varmint in a
VLS stock. Comes with a B&L 3X9X50 scope. Wanting trades only. Wants: (1)
Colt Combat Commander (2) SA GI Champion (3) AR-15 (4) Short Action Savage/
Remington heavy barrel .223 or .243 (5) Kimber pro carry II.

just curious, why not just rebarrel to .243?

Not to play the pity card but I just had another heart attack and money is tight. I re-barreled my savage from .243 to .260. I don't need another .308. And one can never have enough .45s.
