    post-war version of P38 appears to be NIB, but I didn't buy it new so I can't say. Check out the photos, please use PM's for questions, etc...

    Date on slide is 9/66

    Box in very good condition, with test target, manual and extra magazine.

    If I didn't have two already I'd jump on that one. They are rare tofind in that condition with that original box. Nice pistols.

    Be careful. I have seen some of these at gun shows that may have been of very late Nazi production and were very poorly made compared to the earlier or later P-'38's.
    the Walther P-'38 was the most modern, advanced mass-produced pistol of its day.
    Still is a real ICON. And, it is still a beautiful piece. My Dad lost two in a baggage mix-up and non-combat ship sinking at the end of WW-II and he always lamented the loss. A "cherry" paratrooper M1 carbine went down with the P-'38's, too.
