Well, I said a couple billion people and a couple thousand years couldn't be wrong...

    I think I was wrong.

Just got back from my first visit...

I think it will be my last.

They stuck needles in some nerve endings... I mean trigger points, I mena 'energy centers'

Moved them around a bit and then hooked them up to the cart and I got to use a TENS unit which was connected to the needles...

I coulda stayed at home and done that.

There's some 'Chinese herbs and spices' politice on my neck... that they told me would be an exothermic feeling (My words)

    It's hot...

I don't think I'll keep it on for 2 days like they said.

I also am doubting I'll be taking these 8 pills 2x a day that they gave me.
    (Chinese Herbs)

Made in Shanghi China... and I'll bet there's no FDA inspections...

SO to recap... they basically stuck some nerves and I got to pay $142 to use a TENS unit which i could of done at home.
Oh, yea, my neck's hot and a couple of the needles hit nerve endings and hurt... (Yea... not hitting nerves, sorry, I didn's sleep through my A&P's...)

    Not impresed.

I 100% agree with the original poster. I could have bought something useful with the money I spent.

Was anything in the actual procedure different than what I describe?

I have my own TENS unit... no need to be overcharged for it.

No, my sessions were a little more traditional ... no TENS unit. I've done 3 or 4 sessions total... whenever I was having a problem. My doc would choose 5 acupoints that he thought would be the most effective for the problem. He would lightly tap each needle in, leave them in for around 15 or 20 minutes, and then pull them out. Sessions were 50$.
