VERY nice shooting rifle, if anyone isn't familiar with the 257 it's a 7mm mag cartrige with a 257 cal bullet. It's quite fast and shoots very flat.

I have a Near Manufacturing picatinny rail on the gun used for scope with a quick release.

The mount screws in the same holes as scope rings so if you prefer traditional rings you can go that route.

    No scope with the gun.

here are some points from the Weatherby website:
    -----
    Factory-tuned, fully adjustable trigger*
Hand-laminated, raised comb, Monte Carlo composite stock with matte gel coat finish and spiderweb accents
Button-rifled, heavy contour, free-floated stainless steel barrel with target crown (.705 muzzle diameter)
    CNC-machined 6061 T-6 aluminum bedding plate
    Pachmayr® Decelerator® pad
    * Sear engagement factory set at .008 to .014, with let-off weight set at approximately 3.5 pounds. Additional sear engagements must be performed by a Weatherby Service Center or qualified gunsmith.
    -------------

The gun has less than 20 rounds through it.

These new to go for up to $2200

    I'm looking for $1300

    Located in the Slidell area.

The pic is a factory pic but I'll take some when I get home.

Will throw in a hard case, gun sock, standard Leupold rings, new bore snake and 2 boxes of Weatherby ammo.

Would prefer to sell this locally, if not it's going on gun broker.
