Baton Rouge Police Department Concealed Handgun Course

I know this is old (yr:2000), but does anyone know if these classes are still avaliable?
I called the number posted, but no one picked up the phone(Office hours must have ended earlier).

I believe the sheriff's office still has these as well periodically, try 389-8268 around 8-4 M-F. I'm not sure of a current number for the city's range, it is in the same location as EBR's though.

of course they don't offer it anymore, since that point we have managed to elect a new Mayor-President. By not encouraging citizens to be educated on the subject, and at the same to re-instating the "Mayor's Security" (his own crew of 3 body guards) he can sit back "knowing" that he is doing so much to protect the citizens he leads.
