**SOLD** WTT/WTS Savage 99 .308 Lever Action

Savage model 99F .308 Lever Action rifle. 3-9 X 40 scope. This one has the round count window and walnut stocks. Unsure of manufacture date. Great condition, with a few bumps and scrapes on the wood; but no cracks or splits. Bluing is great. $425 or trade. Not looking for anything specific in trade. Face to face in the Lafayette area please.

I don't know about this one, but my cousin has one exactly like it that flat out shoots. I forget the ammo he used, but he showed me a 200 yd target that he grouped 5 just under an inch. Maybe not exactly 200 yds, but it was 200 paces and he's usually pretty close when he's pacing off yardage.

Free bump for a great rifle.
