I just bought the Sig 522 for my son as a Christmas present, No problems after 500 rounds,$30 dollar red/Green dot Leapers scope, shoots dimes @ 25yds in a vise when sighting in. Havent shot any further yet. Good luck in whatever you choose.

Thanks alot man! I've read nothing but great things about both guns. I will be getting both! The Sig 522 for myself and the M&P 15-22 for my son.
