GONE Remington 700 SPS Tactical 308.
This is a Remington model 700 SPS Tactical in 308. It has a 20" heavy barrel, Hogue overmold stock, and a X-Mark Pro trigger that is adjustable. Bought the rifle new in October from Cabela's in Gonzales and put it in the safe, never fired or had anything mounted on it. $600 FTF in Greater Baton Rouge area. Pictures added

Beautiful! I see you have a fine taste in ammunition as well! TAP is the best round I have ever shot from a 7.62! took 2 deer in 24 hours with same weapon and ammo. Clear entry wound and no exit wound! dropped them both at 75 yards like a sack of potatoes!

    That would concern me.

That is because the AMAX is a fragmenting round. The round did what it is designed to do. Now whether or not that is the best thing for hunting has been debated ad nausea.

Oh! Sorry. I thought it was a "FMJ" or "Soft Point". I don't know much about military calibers or lingo.
