I can say I hate to get rid of it, but I have not shot it for a few years and no longer have a readily available place to shoot it. I can also say that a buddy of mine and I tried a little test we read about when we first each bought one. We tried to shoot through a telephone pole at a distance of about 75 yards. Of course not all the ammo would do that, but some (a couple of boxes of which are included with the sale) most certainly did shoot completely through the telephone pole. I would never classify the 7.62 round as a cannon, but it sure can be a destructive little critter.

Is it a pain to use 30 round magazines? do you need to dremel out anything for the sks to use 30 rounders?

Or do you just unbolt/unscrew the fixed mag, and pop in a 30 rounder?

I mean, that's a deal, to get30 round ak functionality, 400 rounds = about 100 dollars, so you are selling the rifle for 225.... yum.

Jay, afraid I can't answer that question for you since I never tried to attach one to mine. I stuck to using stripper clips.

And yeah, I probably should have asked more with the rounds thrown in. Oh well. It found a good home at a great price.
