Have ya'll ever tried the drop-in receiver-cover scope mounts?
I see mixed reports on the internet due to loose fit, but i really don't want to try and tap the weapon for a scope myself, nor do i want to make the mount permanent.

If the receiver-cover scope mounts don't work well, how about the barrel-mounted lasers?

    Thanks,
    Mike

I put one on my Norinco and its pretty solid. I actually had to file it down to get it to slide forward enough to slip the takedown pin through. Just make sure you get some kind of shell deflector to protect the scope.
