You cannot fire it with the mag out. The mag safety is easy to remove though, and as a bonus you don't have the stupid warning on the slide.

NEIL I believe YOUR gun was the one without the mag safety, Its been a couple of months since I've seen it BUT I do remember it being the one without it

I could be wrong though

Easy check...if it has the "Capable of Firing With Magazine Removed" it does not have the safety.
