I sold some property to Donald Hunt some years ago. Same Hunts?
I don't know, I remember Donald Hunt from Zachary. Looks like the only Hunt name was the child that was killed. The mama goes by a different name. The other older son is white and she has a younger daughter that is black and is pregnant now.

Highland Lakeshore looks like where they’re talking about. Off Hwy 10 just west of Clinton, my hometown. Real sad story. Hard to picture the facts from what is said but I’m wondering if the truck owner had a pocket or storage accessory attached to the rear of a seat where the rifle was stowed. Regardless, to leave the gun in a ready to fire condition was the primary error if this is truly what happened. I’m deeply saddened that a young child has to die, especially as a result of improper handling of said firearm. Something that could have been avoided altogether. My youngest son is 10 and I don’t see being able to live through that sort of loss. Prayers for the family.
