    Interesting piece. It appears to be a 229 frame with a 228 slide. I heard such things exsisted but have never seen one. Somebody should buy it for me.

    Not to Hijack this thread but looking at those pictures makes me wonder

    Wouldnt it be MUCH nicer if they would put "Hergestellt in Deutschland" instead of Made in Germany ??? ............

    @vanillagorilla it's just a p226 frame with a p226 slide. The DAK's, being double action only, doesn't have the decocker or the thumb safety. It has a pretty consistent 6.5lbs trigger pull. It reminds me of a striker fired trigger, except that the DAK trigger is a touch longer.

    At least I've never encountered him being wrong on anything ever. I now just take his opinion as fact.

    229s had cocking serrations that only went half way up the slide. Because those go all the way up it tells me its one of the german 228 slides on an Exeter 229 frame. Basically its a 228R. Very nice.
