i tried the oven & fireplace, old wives tale. the cartridges got hot to the touch, but the velocity didnt increase.. next ill try the cigarette lighter.

"Hot" as in "high velocity" fellas...
I can vouch for fellow member "rainsdrops" being upstanding, although i wonder -- Is there any such thing as a 10mm load that is NOT a "hot load" by most standards?

I'd steer away from the cigarette lighter anyway cause it's harder to control the increase in temp!

You might get a better response if you ask for +p rounds which is the correct terminology for higher pressure ammunition. "Hot" rounds general invoke the vision of some tool reloading beyond recommended max pressure for a given cartridge because he thinks faster is better. Also, if asking for custom reloaded ammunition from someone who isn't a licensed ammunition manufacture is definitely a way to get your hands on "hot" rounds........it's a felony for them to sell it.

There are few manufacturers that sell low velocity 10mm rounds, such as cci's 10mm rounds. Their rounds are on par with .40 calibers on the shelf. Most 10mm forums refer to the double taps, buffalo bores, swamp fox and others that break the 1300 fps velocity / 650 ftlbs energy barrier as hot loads. I've googled 10mm +p and haven't found the +p suffix in conjunction with the 10mm. But then, admittedly, my thought process is less than swift.

I have a Lone wolf 9x25 dillion, in my G20. (flame ball). But I have a few other 10mm, supported chamber pistols, that I enjoy shooting the 10 double M cartridge.

All jokes and puns put aside. I appreciate the attention, feedback, and direction, you guys have given to me.
Please pm or email me, with prices, if you have ammo to spare.

Kill them all and let God sort them out.
