You might fair better if you part the AAC MITER Mount from the upper.
(That is a pretty specific flash hider which is pretty specific to two of AAC's Suppresors, one which is for mil only)

So, if you were to remove that miter mount would it then be a sbr or would it still be 16" with a regular muzzle break? And, how heavy is it that you are looking for a lighter configuration? Sorry for the questions.

It would be a 16 in bbl without a muzzle break installed. The 51T overlaps the barrel by about 3 inches and weighs 4 ounces. It is a medium contour barrel with very little taper from the chamber under the handguards to the gas block. Obviously set up for high volume use. I think the whole upper weighs about 6 lbs

As an FYI, that mount is for the SPR/M4, the SCAR-H will fit, but shouldn't be used.

AAC has discontinued the MITER mount cans but still supports the mounts.
