Looks like times for pick up will be

Friday after 5pm

I am going to sort everything out in the morning, and group them to make it easy for Ashley. Please have some sort of way to prove who you are!




This group buy will remain open until Friday March 23rd OR until we use up Joeboboutfitters allocation of spikes uppers. This means I might have to close the group buy EARLY.

Friday March 23 I will create a spreadsheet and assign each member a number.

I will need the following information to turn into Joeboboutfitters:

Screen name
Full Name
Uppers requested
If you are adding a Sparc Red dot (and how many) limit one per upper ordered
A working email address
A working phone number
Hoodie/T Shirt size and preference if you want a hoodie or Tshirt

If you write a check, you will need to write "Nicks Group buy #X" in the memo line of your check. X being the number I assign to you. If you need to pay with a Credit Card, there will be a $10 fee since we are getting these uppers at such a good price. Please do not call Debi now, we will need to pay between the dates of Monday the 25th and Friday the 30th, so plan accordingly. These dates are subject to change due to shipping times and availability from spikes, it looks like 16" will be good to go, but probably not the 14"

Once I get the uppers I will arrange a day and time frame for people to meet and pick them up, hopefully it will get a lot of the uppers picked up at once. Please bring ID, since these items are so expensive I would like to be able to identify who is picking up the Upper. I know some of you personally, but I only know some of you by SN. Ashly and I will arrange alternate times for those that can't make the "Group" meet, but I will not drive all over the state trying to chase someone down.

There is a possibility we will have to wait a week or two once paying to for the uppers, this is better than the typical 8-12 week order or longer wait time.

Right now there is not a limit on orders, but if someone orders 4 uppers and we have a member that wants to get in, I would expect the person ordering 4 to understand and reduce their order to help out someone who just needs one, I hope this does not happen, but opportunities like this do not come along very often and if we take the entire allocation I would like to think we could work things out to accommodate as many members as possible. This would only happen if we use up Joeboboutfitters generous allocation of spikes uppers. So, if you want one for sure, add your name to the list, if the list gets too long, I will let everyone know and possibly have to cut off the group buy early.

As most of you know I ran the first lower group buy. Same process add your name and what you want. I'll pm you for info. I want to get to 8 to get the extra $10 off! I'll post the model #'s when I get to a computer, I am on my phone now, I am probably going with the midlength, regular furniture.

The SP-STU5035-MLS and SP-STU5050-MLS-A2 (14.5, would need permanently pinned FH to be legal) would be good. These would sell in the group buy for $440 SHIPPED (Normally $489.95).

The SP-STU5035-MOE would be $460 SHIPPED (Normally 509.95)

The SP-STU50-MLS-Dynacomp would be $520 SHIPPED (Normally 569.95)

Prices are $10 less if we get to 8, I am in if we just get to 4, I am sure with the NO crew we will get enough total.

I think we will have to coordinate with the New Orleans group and place one order and ship to two different locations, I also need to know his timeline, I know when we talked the first time it would be a few weeks from placing the order, to paying to getting the uppers depending on Spikes shipping schedule.

I just emailed Joseph that I was at it again.... We need 12 total, so either we need to get to 12 or the New Orleans group needs to get to 4. Am I the only one that prefers the standard furniture over MOE?

It is a very strong possibility that I will be adding my name 2 more times to the list, maybe even 3 times, so I doubt we have a problem getting the 12. What is it that you prefer about the standard furniture? Just curious because I haven't yet owned an AR with Magpul furniture.

I enjoy a sling and a steady position. I carry a light all the time, so I don't have any weapon mounted lights. I just like the traditional look.

Ok, we are having uppers reserved for us from future shipments. When Joeboboutfitters confirms what is coming in we will start payment collection, I am still ironing out details. Please don't put your name on the list if you are not going to order for sure, it is very generous of them to hold this highly sought item for us with a $60 discount to boot.

As of now there is not a limit, but there are only a certain amount of uppers coming in. I know how many, unless this group buy just gets out of control with tons of orders we are going to keep it open until NEXT Friday the 23rd of March. Dates could change if Joebob gets a shipment confirmation early, or we start to get close to his allocation. 14.5" are probably not going to be available as soon as the 16", but we look good on that front with everyone wanting 16" right now.

We're pulling our inventory from our monthly shipments for your group buy to get much quicker delivery. "NORMAL" delivery from Spike's is 8-12+ weeks. Your guys' group buy will piggy back on our February Monthly shipment we still haven't received most of yet but are supposed to in the next couple of weeks, meaning about the time the deal gets closed and money gets to us, we'll be shipping out your uppers shortly thereafter.
