Unfortunately I had to sell my 6.5 Grendel due to some medical problems. Now I want to find something to toy around with. I am looking for a good project gun, something that has a rough stock or bluing. I am not opposed to something that is missing a few parts, but please price it accordingly.

    I'm looking for:

    Shotguns- preferably with wood furniture
    Surplus rifles
    Any kind of pistol
I may even consider a hunting rifle that has seen better days.

I am not looking to spend more than $100-$200, but would consider spending more for the right item.

I have a Federal Arms G3 clone, 308 cal. It is very heavy and hard to cock. I believe there is a head spacing issue. Let me know if you are interested, I will need a little more than what you are offering, would consider cash and trade, ammo?

I have a Ruger .22 LR standard model semi-auto pistol, 4" barrel, blued finish, that I'll offer along with cash for your Yugo SKS. Any interest? The pistol, I think, needs a new extractor and/or ejector. I got it as a project gun of my own but haven't had the time to fool with it.

If the OP is not interested in this I may be, although only as a parts kit. How is the barrel? The bolt should unlock with the cam action of the cocking handle. Head spacing is different but if it was put together in such a way that the cocking is difficult then there might be headspace issues, too. You should check the headspace and you might possibly be able to shim the top of the cocking handle tube if it isn't too far out of spec.
PM me if you want more info.
