    I think you are right. I looked around and a couple of people described it as a stainless finish. But it is definitely not the shiny chrome finish.

    Not trying to hassle you. I think "stainless finish" is what they call it but Brycos were inexpensive and were not made of stainless steel.

    I had the exact gun for many, many years. It is a nickle finish, at least mine was and it looks just like mine.

    I must say, my Bryco surpassed my expectations by a good margin.

    Brycos have a history of lawsuits and being inexpensive. They aren't as durable as others but almost every time you pull the trigger on a loaded chamber they go bang.
