I had this up before. It is a Colt Official Police 38 special with 4" Barrel. It has very good original finish. and a beautiful set of genuine stag grips with colt medallions. It was manufactured in 1961. Timing and function are as perfect as you can get. This model is the same frame size as the Python and can handle the hottest 38 loads you can come up with, they were rated back when they were made to shoot the old 38-44 cartridge, which is a 38 round loaded to 357 mag. velocities. This pistol is worth more than I am asking, but I need to replace some funds in my bank account due to another gun purchase. The grips alone are worth $200. I am asking $400. I am located in the Lake Charles area.
