SOLD PENDING FUNDS, THANKS FOR ALL THE INTEREST.
Made in North Haven by Marlin alongside their own Model 60 rifles, the Glenfield 60's were sold just about everywhere the Marlin models weren't -- such as Sears, Montgomery Ward, etc.
High capacity tube, reliability and great accuracy from their "micro-groove" barrel kept them around forever, or so it seems to us older dudes.
This one carries serial number 723322xx, in case you want to check year of manufacture; somebody refinished the stock along the way, but the barreled action appears to be original finish and there is some natural wear and tear around the muzzle crown and front sight as the photos show.
You wanna play with this one and rescue it from closet purgatory?
First $100 cash FTF in N'Awlins area can have it.
Thanks for looking.
