Has anybody ever put Deer backstrap in a Air Fryer ?

No, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. Just cook it like you would steak and you should be good.

I did a yearling hind quarter with a good rub then wrapped in laced thick bacon using my buddy’s gas air fryer. It was actually better than the injected one we did before that. I imagine blackstrap would turn out like a ribeye.
