Airgun penetration tests-any links?

I am curious if there are any links to tests done regarding what kind of penetration a pellet gun has with different pellets at different velocities?

I'll do it. Naw I ain't got time but sounds like a good idea. I'll look to see if anyone else has done it. My pellet gun shoots a normal pellet .177 at 1,000 fps. I have shot it through some squirrels pretty far off. What medium should be used? I can probable get some phone books. I can get a chronograph, I have a few pellets from about 7 gr to 16 gr. You may have given me a mission.

I googled pellet penetration and got some results. One study was shots into a soap bar, and video results on you tube into leather. So there are some out there.

My half-brother tried to commit sideways with one. Max pumps, muzzle to temple... he has a lead souvenir in his fool head now...


...didn't make him any smarter either, or dummer as far as we can tell!
