    :D

A new year is here, and the Brady Campaign has released their updated scorecards for State's gun laws. Louisiana totally fails to pass muster, in their eyes.

    http://www.bradycampaign.org/legislation/state/viewstate.php?st=la

We got four points, out of a possible 100.

The ONLY thing LA has a Yes for:
    SHOOT FIRST
Is deadly force allowed to be a first resort in public?

    Yes
Louisiana - The state does allow the use of deadly force as a first resort in public.
    :bravo:

BTW: It was a 5-way tie for #44

    :)

    OUTSTANDING!:D
Usually, Louisiana & Mississippi rank near the bottom on "the good stuff" list, & near the top on"the bad stuff" list.
What does it mean when a state ranks near the bottom of "the bad stuff" list?
It must mean Louisiana is ranked near the top on "the good stuff" list!:)

I'll have to send a "thank you" e-mail to the Brady Bunch for holding Louisiana & Mississippi to such an esteemed & lofty status!
I will continue to vote for public servants that keep Mississippi at the bottom of the Brady list.

WTF, Mississippi got five??!!! I'm trying to find out what the difference is... but I get nauseous if I spend more than 2 minutes on their site :puke:

    It's b/c in MS:

    Gun Manufacturer Accountability
Do cities have authority to hold gun makers legally liable? Yes

    Guns at Work
Are businesses forced to allow guns in the workplace? Yes

    :)
