Quick question, I went to the gun show and found a new Mossberg 500a 12ga, 18in, 8 shot, with heat shield, with no other accesories for 290 after tax. Is this a good buy?

I think that's a very good price. I think the regular 500 runs about $300 before tax. The 8 shot should be more. I saw the 8 shot Maverick 88 at a gun show for $250 to give you a point of reference.

Im not positive that the 18" holds 8, did it come with both the full stock and pistol grip?

Here she is. I picked her up from Topper World in Gretna. I didn't know they sold weapons. Anyway, Kirk said it usually sell for 299 + tax. Thanks for the help guys.
