Is there anyone on the Northshore that has the capability to remove / install APX sights? After checking on various forums, it takes Beretta's own APX sight installation tool ($$$$$) or a specialized tool that is able to hold the slide and exert enough force on the lower part of the sight to remove it. I have read many horror stories where the slide is marred or the top part of the front sight snaps in half. General purpose sight tools like NCSTAR and Wheeler don't seem to work. However, I saw that MGW makes an APX shoe for their Rangemaster Sight tool. If anyone knows of anyone local to the Northshore who has had luck with APX sights or if the MGW sight tool works with APX platforms, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
