Yeeeeeees!!!! I live in Lake Charles and we go there sometimes once or twice a week! But I will be completely honest here, once you pass In-Laws in Iowa the quality of boudin drops drastically…. Sorry creole people, but it just gets more weird the further east you go…. I’m a true Cajun especially with the last name of “Aucoin”!!!!

Johnsons in Eunice used to be amazing back in the day

I’m from Eunice and Johnson’s what I compare everything to.
Mr Wallace’s daughter opened up a shop in Lafayette. Tastes just the way I remember it from back in the day. If you have not tried it, you need to. Look them up. Oh, and the mixed smoke sausage, that’s the same too.
