The article ends with “the scales have finally fallen from residents’ eyes.” I have serious doubts that that is the case. I think California will be the first state to reach a climate reminiscent of something like “Escape from New York”. And, they will be just fine with it.

Sadly for the residents there Beverly Hills is not your average "California". Trump actually carried parts of Beverly Hills in 2020. Hard to believe right.

First off those people running out now and buying guns for the first time were the holdouts. A hell of a lot of people in CA own guns, I know, I trained a lot of them.
