How far have we fallen, Director of Civilian Marksmanship (part of the Army) issued ammo to civilians for rifle matches at one time.

Clinton came along, shutdown the DCM, it became the Civilian Marksmanship Program and is no longer part of the Army.

We've had this discussion before, around 2008, maybe? If you can't ban firearms, make the ammo tougher to get...
Firearm confiscation will never happen . The next best thing as far as the left is concerned , is to make everything related to firearms , expensive , scarce , outlawed , highly regulated , etc. And they can do it very easily as we can see .

Can they also tell Sig, FN, Colt… etc or any company that makes equipment and parts for the military, “either stop selling to the civilians or lose your contracts”?

That part may be true , but contracts run out and are rebid all the time . There may also be some language in the existing contract that gives them an out .
