Does anyone on here happen to know what is required for a bill of sale for FTF?
I thought someone on here may have had a generic one drawn up.
I include drivers lincense numbers on mine, that way you know both are residents of Louisiana which if its a handguns makes it legal.
All face to face transactions of firearms require both parties to be residents of the same state, not just handguns.
bordering states are aloud to sell long guns to each other but not handguns. this is FTF or thru a FFL
Q: From whom may an unlicensed person acquire a firearm under the GCA?
A person may only acquire a firearm within the person’s own State, except that he or she may purchase or otherwise acquire a rifle or shotgun, in person, at a licensee’s premises in any State, provided the sale complies with State laws applicable in the State of sale and the State where the purchaser resides. A person may borrow or rent a firearm in any State for temporary use for lawful sporting purposes.
