I don't have one. I do have a bag available, it's about 22x10x10 empty, it will puff out more if it is being stuffed. Because of my limited strength abilities due to age my bag will have to be probably less than 20#'s loaded. So, can you guys give me some help on what needs to go in the bag? Here's what I was thinking (maybe).
One hand gun and 1 box ammo, LED flash light, some paracord, knife, lensatic compass, small bit of clorox for water if needed, multi tool, some first aid supplies, and that's about as far as I have figured.

I know some of yall are good at this stuff and while my bag will be somewhat on the small side I figure something is better than nothing.

When i get my BOB together, I think i am going to get a kel-tec sub 2000. Mostly good reviews, its light, compact, and a good shooter from what i have seen on youtube. cool little gun

limiting weight will be the tough part.

dryer lint for fire starter, weighs next to nothing
mora knife with nylon sheath instead of leather, leather is thick and heavy plus it holds water the mora is a small but proven design
9 mm or .22 cal handgun, compact variety for weight considerations
fishing kit designed to fit in a film canister
mainstays (or similar) ration bar, compact with a lot of calories
camel back or other water carrier
water purification tablets are pre-measured so I would take those over bleach
4 sevens preon quark mini aa (or similar), small and light weight with good brightness and common batteries
    compass and map(s)
extra socks (not going too far with bad feet)
tube tent, about as little weight as you'll find
thick and strong thermal blanket or bivy, you may have to evac in the cold
good first aid kit, this will take up some weight
    means of starting fire
paracord, useful in so many ways

if you can afford the weight the following would be nice
    tp
    wool blanket
    another knife
    change of clothes
    book or other entertainment/moral booster
extra of everything listed in first group (two is one, one is none)

i'm sure i forgot something, but i think this is a pretty decent list for a light weight bob

Thanks guys, I'm getting some real good info. from yall. Some of your suggestions I hadn't even thought of such as the purification tablets, clothing, small tent and stuff.

I really appreciate yall taking the time to let me know this stuff.

If I was going to carry something that big, I might would look into one of the folding stock carbines... AK underfolder?

You can use Glock mags in the kel-tec. If you were to pack an ak, thats a whole diff set of ammo/mags that you would have to carry. 16 inches folded up
