I'm new to the "survival" idea, but I'm not exactly looking to survive like Les Stroud or Bear Grylls. I'm looking for any education materials (books, DVDs, pamphlets, whatever) on how to make life easier in the event of a natural disaster.

    Does anyone have any recommendations?
