Bosco's Italian Cafe in Mandeville

Not cooking but good eating!


Went to Bosco's Italian Cafe in Mandeville for dinner with a friend last night with a friend. We both got 10" pizzas with personalized toppings.
I also ordered a whole muffaletta "to go" for eating today. Ended up having a 1/4 for dinner this evening.

For the $23.00 they charge for it it's well worth the price.

It comes without the olive salad on it but they give you like a sandwich size zip lock bag full of olive salad to add yourself.

I opened it as seen below to arm in the oven to take the chill off and crisp the bread a bit.

Cut into quarters and olive salad added.

Delicious!!!!

I have eaten there before , but I live close and like to pick up a pizza from there every once and awhile . The Popeyes pie is my favorite , second is the margarita pizza .

I'm always looking for a good Pizza and have driven from Baton Rouge to Mandeville for Pizza more than once ...
but that place went out of business ... So I'm looking ...

For pizza in Mandeville there’s also Pomodori and Coscino’s. Pomodori is really good!

Never been thrilled with McClain's in Old Mandeville the four or five times I've been there. Stopped going years ago.

Went to Duman's once. It was ok but I haven't been back since. I should give them a few more tries.

Pizza Man in Covington is a pretty good substitute for Tower Of Pizza in Metairie. But I have been known to drive to Metairie just to eat at Tower.

For a stupidly sized pizza, there's always Fat Boys on the West Approach. It's just dumb. My wife got it one time for just three of us. If you're having a party or feeding a baseball team, it's worth it. But even then, a couple of normal large sized pizzas make more sense.
