It's for sale now. It spent a lot of last summer being rebuilt by Horological Services in Pennsylvania. It is now in better condition than it has been in decades.
I'm making a final attempt to sell it before it goes to an auction house. I'm asking $8500.00. The recent re-issue of this watch was $11,000.00. The restoration invoice was almost $2,000.00. This is an estate piece, so my brother owns half interest in it. I will have to consult with him before accepting any offers.
I'm in Lafayette. I'll travel an hour or so to meet with your jeweler for authentication, if given a reasonable offer.
