    dealer or the source?

I am going to put the cart before the horse a little to ask a couple questions.
Let's say, I have my trust all finished.

    1) Can I buy direct if they offer it and shows in stock, or do I have to go through a local middle person to purchase?

    OR

    2) Can I buy "online" through a supplier that has the model I seek in stock?

    3) Do you have to, or are you required to have trust name engraved on each piece?

    4) So from here on out every time I want to buy a NFA piece I pay the 200$ stamp fee plus item cost, wait awhile and I am good to go?

Just want to be crystal clear what is the right way to do this... Thanks

So I posted a thread on Louisiana Sportsman under forums, other, inquiring when La might pass a law allowing the use for Deer hunting.
The comments so far is that I am an outlaw, it would be unfair advantage to the Deer and that I would be shooting 100's of yards......

I am surprised my the sarcastic uneducated replies I have received so far.

    1. & 2. Yes you purchase from the owner. Then they have to ship it to a class III dealer in your state. The item has to be on a Form 3 to cross state lines and that requires a dealer to dealer transfer (both of which have to be class III dealers). This takes a few months in and of itself which is why it is best to buy from a class III dealer in the state that already has the desired item if possible to eliminate this step.

    3. No the trust does not have to be engraved. The item is just registered to and owned by the trust.

    4. Yes every item requires its own $200 tax stamp and you have to submit the Form 4 application for each item you want to purchase and wait the 6-9 months.

Mouthpiece (Terry) did my trust and I am 100% satisfied.
He is reasonable, allowed me to ask as many questions as I desired and a consummate professional.
If only all lawyers were like him.

Not sure he is a real lawyer(just kidding) he makes sense when you talk to him. Not all the legal mumbo-jumbo you get from
most lawyers.I will definitely let him handle my trust.

Anyone in Jefferson parish applied to get a suppressor?
I would like to know how hard was it to get the Sheriff to sign off on it

Newell will not sign off on them. You can get other people to sign off, but the best and easiest way is to do a trust or LLC.
