My wife made my cabbage steaks like I make them.
    She did them well.
    Cabbage 1 to 1.5 inches.
1/3rd butter, 2/3rds coconut oil, minced garlic, minced onion, minced celery cooked down.
Brushed/ Spooned over cabbage topped with parmesan cheese and Cajun seasoning.
Bake at 350 till 80 percent done.
Top with grated Mexican style cheese. So it's 3 kinds of cheese plus the parmesan. Bake till cheese is done.
And a light shake of parmesan on top when served

You can also while baking pan cook some ground pork, onions, garlic, green and red bell peppers and toss it on before the cheese.
