Bearco in Covington has an online course. Took it last week and found it to be well put together.

I'm not calling names . He was a good guy , just not a good instructor for that class .

I took a class there and while he was a great guy, we spent a lot of time talking about his exploits as an LEO and not so much learning thr material. The range is first class, but we had a few shooters whose targets looked like they used a shotgun.

The recent class I took, all the shooters were in the 9 ring or better.

The class I took at FRC was presented well. The state mandated course material is rather simple. I don't expect any of the instructors to be experts in Louisiana Law. I also don't expect them to provide legal advice or spend a great deal of time telling us about their personal accomplishments, so I would probably make a comment and get the ball rolling. I'm paying for the state mandated nonsense.

As far as the shooting portion is concerned. It's a qualification, not a block of instruction. Be glad you had competent shooters. My course had some individuals passing by hitting ever inch of the B-27, which is sadly okay by state standards.
