COLT GOLD CUP

I'm about to list a Colt Gold cup 45 for sale on this forum. The gun has Pachmayr grips in place of the original. Will this affect the price buyers will pay for this gun? Thanks.

I don’t believe so… Colt logo grips are pretty easy and cheap to come by if that’s what they want.. pachmayr is pretty standard for quality older 1911’s

It would affect the price by the amount that a set of correct factory grips would cost me but I'm more collector than shooter in my old age

Oem factory colt logo grips can be had for less than $20 on eBay or cdnn investments …

Don't let that stop you if the price is within limits and everything else checks out alright---easy and cheap fix if it really makes you any difference.

Didn't realize OEM 1911 grips were that cheap - yeah, go ahead and buy it. (I'm used to buying old Smith and Colt revolver grips - NOT cheap!)
