got a question about a bow...

PSE Omen 28 60 Right Hand Treestand Camo 2010 Model

is it worth anything used?? i dont know about these things at all...lol...someone wants to trade me for it and i would have no use for it...are they easy to sell?? guy said it needs new string...thanks...

Bow technology changes drastically from year to year. So they are not like a gun in that they do not hold their value as well. Not sayin it's worth nothin but unless you wanted the bow to use I would't do it. That is unless the item you're trading isn't worth anything.

thanks...i guess its not a good deal then...lol...for what i would be trading for i would need to get back $500...that is what price my stuff is for sale...he said i could get $600 for it and its worth about a grand with all the add ons...thanks big time...

What is the bow being traded for?

On ebay they are being listed between $600 and $900 (2010 used through 2011 new).

Is it specifically a PSE Omen Xforce?

Just by looking on eBay I would say as a trade value it would be good for $300 to $500 depending on whether it's a full outfit. (Release, Sights, Arrow Rest, Case, Arrows, etc).


**Just re-read your post, if you have no use for it then don't take it in on trade. Reselling it may be difficult.

i was going to trade him for my nx spray kit but after reading this im not...id have to pay to get it fixed to so im passing on it...i was just trying to help him out cause he wanted it with no money...

Omens arent bad if you can shot a bow with a very short brace height. Not as fast as PSE claims either. They are going 400-500 depending on camo or blackout. If you want a speed bow then this would be a good start! Is he giving you a bare bow or will it be tooled up?
