Picked this one up recently with a small collection of milsurps. Really hate to let it go but would like to raise some funds for another purchase. It is a Czech post-war production rifle. 8x57 mauser (not an Israeli 7.62 rework). Receiver has been scrubbed (not uncommon for these rifles). I'm guessing it was scrubbed, reworked and put in a crate somewhere until it was eventually surplused out. Bluing is excellent. It is a "J" block rifle. Number on bolt body and receiver match. Gas shroud number does not. No other visible numbers or import marks. Price is $800obo.
