Savage 93R17 or Ruger 10/22?

I'm so torn

depends on what you want to do with it. 22 is way cheaper ammo 17 to me is way more fun to shoot.

Aren't you comparing apples and oranges?

.22 LR (10/22) is comparable to .17 Mach 2
.22 Mag. is comparable to .17 HMR (93R17)

Laugh at me if you wish, but I refuse to buy a .17 because I would need a new cleaning kit

I found a good deal on a 93R17 with rings & a Simmons 3-9x40 for 200 shipped so I'm buying that this week.

10/22 whats the point in a rimfire if you cant buy 550 rounds for under $10...

but $200 is a nice deal!

The Ruger 10/22 has almost as many accessories available as the AR-15. On the 10/22, you can change barrels, stocks, & other internal parts without needing any specialized tools or knowledge.

Trust me, a 10/22 is coming but I feel like this is a pretty good deal on the Savage so I don't want to pass it up...

I have the Marlin 917V with a BAS Sweet 17 .....i had a Bushnell scope on it but it fogged up. It is a great shooting gun.
